About the Consultant
Justice Obiaya brings 10 years of experience leading marketing and fundraising efforts for film festivals. He previously served as Marketing & Community Relations Director for the Atlanta Film Festival, a three-time Oscar-qualifying festival, where he helped grow submissions, educational program, fundraising, and membership revenue while supporting a strong post-pandemic box office recovery.
He later served as Executive Director of Out On Film, Atlanta’s Oscar and BAFTA-qualifying LGBTQ+ film festival, where he led the organization to its most successful year in 2025, setting all-time records in submissions revenue, annual fundraising, box office performance, and year-round attendance. His expertise is backed by certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, YouTube, and Mailchimp, along with a track record of helping festivals turn digital strategy into
measurable results.
